Floral Series Overview

Inspired by Islamic continuous floral patterns, one motif was isolated into an image and repeated so that it may create spatial depth within the print.

Neocycle

Neocycle draws inspiration from Persian floral motifs.  Suspended a few inches off the wall, these modular motifs are organized into a layered installation. The essential component is the delicate jewel-like colors reflected on the wall and the sporadic cyclical movement that occurs when someone briskly walks by the installation.

Using three motifs and both, manual and digital printmaking, Busy Combined Floral pushes the illusion of depth through combined processes.
